Melton Chest (Item #4412)

Our Melton Chest of Drawers remembers its ancestor: an 18th century antique still occupying a favored place in an English manor house. So much to recommend it - 'oyster' veneers of yew wood, 'herringbone' inlaid borders, cast brass handles in the 'lotus' design and 'bun' feet, fashioned by the early Dutch cabinetmakers to look like rounds of their Gouda cheese. Thoroughly pleasant and a great addition to any room.
