William & Mary Side Table (Item #4405)

England's "Walnut Age" followed the times when furniture was made of oak and pine, and resourceful cabinetmakers used veneers such as the cross-cut 'oyster' inlaid into tables, drawer fronts and cabinet doors. This table would have graced the most sophisticated homes of the day with its bell-turned legs, inlays and hand cast brass handles.
