Cottage Gateleg Table (Item #6722)

The English Cottage Gateleg Table was one of the more versatile pieces of furniture produced during the reign of the Tudor monarchy. This table was used for everything from bathing the baby to laying out Grandpa at his wake. We have different uses for the Gateleg Table today: pull out the gatelegs to use as a country breakfast table in the kitchen, or fold the leaves down for a sofa table in the living room. With the leaves up, the top is 54" in diameter.
